A possible alternative is MicroPython , but it needs more than 250 (rather 350) KiB of Flash .
What about uLisp? It is also small (32 KiB) and self-contained, but it needs garbage collection, that takes about 2 ms @ 40 MHz (real-time programming and garbage collection is not a dream team). | ||||||||
