The ELF Membership Card, the RaspiElfDisplay, and the RaspiElfKeypad need a home. I found  a wooden box from [[https://www.efcocreative.com/general-craft/1432676-wooden-box-23-5-x-17-x-9-cm-u.html][efco]], 23.5 x 17 x 9 cm. There is enough room to stow away the hefty [[https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-universal-power-supply/][Raspberry Pi Universal Power Supply]] too.

Of course you do not need any monitor but it is very convenient to have one built in (e.g. HDMI Monitor 5" 800x480 from [[https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-5-800x480-tft-hdmi-monitor-touchscreen-backpack][Adafruit]]). Especially if you want to use emulators like the YAZE-AG (Z80, CP/M Plus), the DOSbox, or a terminal emulator for the [[RaspiElf#Start_BASIC3_without_EPROM][BASIC3]]. A USB keyboard can simply plugged in, I use Bluetooth keyboard because the Raspi has Bluetooth on board.

To switch off the Raspberry Pi from the console:

I would like to use only one button for turn off and on again the Raspi as described in [[https://howchoo.com/g/mwnlytk3zmm/how-to-add-a-power-button-to-your-raspberry-pi][How to add a power button to your Raspberry Pi]] but for this we need the GPIO3 and this pin is already used by the I2C communication. I instead chose GPIO21 (pin 40) for shutdown, this can be configured with [[https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/tree/master/boot/overlays][overlays]]

Add following line to the file =/boot/config.txt=

If the Raspberry Pi is in HALT mode then you can start it again with switch off (pull the plug) and switch on again or hit the RUN button.

I used the fonts [[https://www.dafont.com/retro-stereo-wide.font][Retro Stereo Wide]], [[https://fonts2u.com/rca.font][RCA]], and [[https://www.linotype.com/de/1212832/univers-65-bold-product.html][Univers Pro 65 Bold]] (non-free).
