In contrast to Austria, in Switzerland the narrow gauge railroads are meter gauge (see [[http://www.rail-info.ch/][RAIL-INFO SCHWEIZ]] for meter gauge railroads). Only some construction railroads were 2 1/2 foot. But there is an exception: the Waldenburgerbahn.
