It is easy to build a stand alone USB device with !CubeMX. But if you want go a bit further and try to build a composite device, the struggle begins. I gave up to use the STM USB middleware. It is interrupt driven, but not easy to integrate into an RTOS. I took TinyUSB and I am very happy with it. Everything straight forward an clear.
